The Women Behind The Cause

The Panhandle Women’s Project was founded by two best friends, juniors at Niceville High School, who are determined to fight for equality and dignity for all women in our community. At just 16 years old, we’ve seen how deeply inequality affects women—whether through poverty, homelessness, domestic violence, or lack of access to basic necessities like hygiene products. Women today continue to face injustice in so many forms: unequal pay, gender-based violence, and systemic barriers that limit their opportunities. These issues aren’t just statistics— they’re lived realities for countless women in our area. That’s why we’re committed to taking action. By fundraising and creating care packages, we hope to meet immediate needs while also sending a message of support and solidarity to the women who are too often overlooked. Our mission is rooted in the belief that every woman deserves respect, resources, and the chance to thrive, and we are proud to stand up and do our part.
